Island
Standing on an island of millions
Yet having the overwhelming sense of alone
What is my chaos is not theirs
I cannot lend myself to others
As I find that what I am is not valid
My sense of self is lost
And although there is a hand reaching out
It is mearly an illusion
For this is a deserted isle
Fade
On the outside peering into the window
Wishing you could simply find the door
Cast out in the darkness
Yet seeing the light of life inside
With every effort in vain
The barrier remians intact
You simply turn your back
So as to not be subjected
And slowly fade into the darkness
To find solace in blackness
Shadows
Shadows cast themselves in eire forms
Unknowing of the mystery they bring
Some dance as to taunt us
Others lying in wait
Yet as daylight emerges
The strangeness they once held
Dissipates to reveal nothing
Opposition
In silence we find solace
Chaos begets comfort
Yet which is more prized
Drawn to the fire by the hypnotic dance
Shunned by the searing heat
To be a part of it is highly desired
Engulfed by a realistic fear
The opposition distorts logic
